STEP 1:MEASURE YOUR BOX

STEP 2: WHAT IS THE WEIGHT OF YOUR PRODUCT?
Approximately how heavy is the product that you will be putting into this box?
STEP 3: WHAT IS THE PRODUCT QUANTITY?
Specify the quantity that you require. For example, you would like a quote on 250, 500 and 1000 boxes.
STEP 4: WHAT IS THE BOX STYLE?

Regular Slotted Carton (RSC)
The standard packing box. The two outer flaps are
one-half the carton’s width, so that they meet at the centre of the box when folded.
This style requires tape on the top and base for closure.
The RSC can be used for most products and is the most common box style.

Five Panel Folder (FPF)
A single cut and scored piece features a fifth panel used
as a closing flap, completely covering a side panel. This style requires tape on the
side and top and base openings.

Corner Cut Folder (CCF)
One piece of board is cut so that it provides a flat bottom, with flaps forming the sides and ends, and extensions of the side flaps meeting to form the top. This style requires one tape line on the top for closure.

Half Slotted Carton (HSC)
Open top box which tapes up on the base.
Similar to the RSC without the top panels for closure.

Full Flap Slotted Carton (FFSC)
Similar to the RSC. Instead of the two outer flaps being one-half of the container’s width, they are full width. The closures are reinforced with double strength.

Die Cut Carton
A single cut sheet which has been die cut to your size and style.
Flaps fold in to assemble.
STEP 5: WHAT IS THE BOARD GRADE?
When deciding which board grade you require there are a number of factors to consider such as, weight of product, storage conditions, printing and presentation. The information below is to be used as a guide line in helping you make that decision. If you are unsure we can provide you with recommendations.
FLUTE TYPE
‘Flute’ is the corrugation between the internal and external lining papers of the board. The various flutes available offer different properties over each other such as Compression, Crush or Burst strength, Print-ability or storage space.

E Flute
Board thickness approximately 2mm.
E Flute is used for die cut cartons and small postage cartons.
B Flute
Board thickness approximately 3mm.
C Flute
Board thickness approximately 4mm.
This is one of our most popular board grades.
A larger flute than ‘B’ offering greater compression strength and offers more cushioning.
BC Flute (double wall)
Board thickness approximately 7mm.
A combination of ‘B’ and ‘C’ flute is normally used when compression and stacking strength is important.
STEP 6: WHAT COLOUR DO YOU REQUIRE THE BOX TO BE?

STEP 7: DO YOU REQUIRE PRINTING ON THE BOX?
LITHOGRAPHIC PRINTING
Lithographic printing features vibrant, high-resolution full colour graphics with fine details and smooth gradients, creating a polished and professional appearance in either Matte or Gloss finishes.

FLEXOGRAPHIC PRINTING
Flexographic printing often appears as vivid, high-contrast images and text, directly printed onto the box surface using flexible rubber or plastic plates. Unlike lithographic printing, which provides sharper, more detailed images by transferring ink from a flat plate to a rubber blanket before applying it to the box, flexographic printing is more cost-effective for large-scale runs and can handle a variety of substrates. Finish is in Matte only.

DIGITAL PRINTING
Digital printing on corrugated boxes offers vibrant, full-color CMYK images directly onto the substrate with minimal setup time, making it ideal for short runs and customisation. Unlike lithographic printing, which requires transferring images onto plates, and flexographic printing, which uses flexible plates and is suited for high-volume runs, digital printing eliminates the need for plates, allowing for faster and more versatile production. Finish is in Matte only.
